Sanur Beach, Bali, Indonesia

On our last full day in Bali Naomi and I went on a hunt to find some fun souvenirs in town while Ginger took a morning nap. First we stopped at a cafe for a bite.  Strawberry ice cream for breakfast?  Why the heck not?

We returned with some fun dresses that Naomi picked out so she and Ginger would match.  Stay tuned for the pics...
These colorful flower offerings are randomly placed all over Bali. Such a beautiful custom.
Finally(!) we got in our suits and headed for the beach.  It looked like paradise.  People were relaxing peacefully everywhere in lounge chairs.  Little did we know that our very own Ginger ReNae was seriously opposed to sand.  SERIOUSLY.  This was taken just as we got to the beach...
...and this was taken as I tried to set her down on the beach!
I thought we could at least snap a few fun pictures, but I was very aware of all the people who left their kids at home for a romantic vacation in Bali, and were now listening to my kiddo's high pitched screams.  So this lasted about 15 seconds:)
Besides, look at this sad, sad face!
Is it too much to ask for a beach with no sand???

Naomi was in love with the sun & the sand, so she and Jon played in the surf while Gigi and I splashed in the kiddy pool.
Sand-free and much, much happier!!!
Hanging out in our hotel room, ready for bed.

The next morning the girls debuted their new dresses.  Naomi loves to coordinate their outfits.  No idea where she gets that.  None at all;)

Naomi's fishy face.

I really did not plan to match the girls, although with a pink shirt my chances were pretty high.
Bye bye Bali!!!
