For our first family vacation since moving to Hong Kong we chose Bali. I'm not gonna lie. It was like stepping into a dream. They placed leis around our necks, gave us glasses of freshly squeezed juice, and offered us comfy seats while we were checked in.
We arrived in the afternoon, so after settling in our room we headed out for a walk along the beach.
We were lucky enough to visit Bali during a kite festival so throughout the weekend we enjoyed seeing colorful kites fill the sky.
The girls were getting a lot of attention from the locals. There is not a shy bone in Gigi's body! She thoroughly enjoyed her new friends.
Naomi was a little less at ease:)
The next morning we found this guy wandering around our breakfast table:
It is hard to tell how big he is from this photo. I'm guessing about 3 1/2 feet from head to tail. Eeeegggh! While we were a little terrified, we didn't let him spoil our fun.
Instead we stalked him around the little pond for more photos.
I bought these aviators for the girls especially for our trip. I am SO glad I got these pics because Naomi left hers in the taxi just minutes later.
R.I.P. shades.
You were taken from us too early, but you served your purpose well.
Getting impatient. Although I can't blame her. I would probably wear the same expression if someone was documenting my every step with a camera!
We played for a while at the children's area. I love finding playgrounds with toys I used to enjoy as a kid. The teeter totter was always one of my favorites!
The rest of our day was spent at the pool.
Peace out.

As always, your pictures are gorgeous. And so are your girls. :) Gigi's hair and eye-color combo seriously warm my heart! Bali looks beautiful.
