Naomi and I heard about a fun Pixar exhibit at the Hong Kong Heritage museum in Shatin. Since many of her favorite movies are done by Pixar, we decided to make an afternoon of it on her day off of school.
Show me a kid that is not crazy about Woody and Buzz and I'll show you a liar. (I know your are, but what am I???)
You couldn't take many pictures inside the exhibit, but it was really cool. They went through their animation process and showed bunches of sketches, posters, 3-d mock ups, and all different versions of the characters that eventually made it to the screen. And a LOT more. We did the 4 year old speed version of the museum, and still really enjoyed it.

"The claw," says Naomi.
As we were walking around I found myself recalling several quotes from each movie. What a mom I am! One of our most quoted comes from Hopper in A Bug's Life. We used to say it just before starting the car on an outing, but now we just say it as we are leaving the house (and when I say "we" I mean Naomi & me...although I'm pretty sure the phrase has crossed Jon Jon's lips before.)
So imagine if you will, said with a snarl, "Let's ride!"
