Aberdeen Harbour, Hong Kong

From the get-go our day in Aberdeen was magical, and this photo is proof! Both girls looking at the camera AND smiling? Magic, I tell you:)

Aberdeen Harbour is on the south side of the island, and is famous for its floating village which includes about 600 junks that house about 6,000 people. We caught a sampan (similar to the one pictured above) and rode around the harbor for an hour or so, taking in the sights.

Naomi loved being on the boat. She kept reminding me that she has sailed before with Pop-Pop. She seems to love being on the water as much as I do.

One of Hong Kong's most famous tourist destinations is Jumbo's Floating Restaurant. It is quite the sight, although even more so at night. The whole place is decorated top to bottom in lights.

The girls were a little confused when we rushed to the bow for the photo op:)

Ginger was so happy, dancing and smiling for the other guests on the boat.

There's no shortage of personality here!!!

  1. In the picture of you four, Ginger's face has the exact same expression as she had the first time I saw her, when she was born. It's such a great family photo. Hope all is well. XOXO
