Ginger's Second Birthday!

Guess who's TWO???
On her birthday Ginger woke up as happy as a clam!  I guess the crown clued her into the fun that was to come!
First off: peanut butter sandwiches for breakfast!  This was Ginger's first peanut butter and did she ever LOVE it!!!
Then we headed to the coin operated car area of the mall for some rides!
And then some birthday photos!
My two cuties!

Gigi absolutely LOVES to sing and dance!
Tossing back her hair and taking in the moment!

Dancing with mommy
We tend to celebrate birthdays for a few days in our family.  It's just too hard to pack all the festivities into 24 hours!  So the next day we started by opening the cute cupcake locket Nana & Pop Pop sent to Gigi and heading to Disneyland.
Not happy, not sad, just totally relaxed!!!
It was one of the first really hot & sunny days of the year, so we picked up some fun shades to pass the day in style!

Doubling up in our itty-bitty stroller
Goosey was even happy waiting in line!
She really got into the new Slinky Dog ride in Toy Story Land!
  "Look mom, no hands!!!"

As it was St. Patrick's Day, Jon snapped a special pic of the Irish portion of the Small World ride!  Hahaha!  Coincidentally when we got home that evening a little leprechaun had left a treasure hunt for the girls.  Naomi was elated to discover the loot!

The next day we had a couple of Gigi's pals from Nursery over for cake and ice cream.  We set the kiddos loose in their tiny bedroom and let the chaos ensue!  Needless to say, they had a blast playing with their little friends and EVERY toy they own.  I'm not sure Naomi will ever stop talking about how much fun she had:)
The cake was yummy, but Ginger seemed to enjoy the ice cream most of all!
Later that evening we opened a few gifts together.
We all had a lot of fun selecting our gifts for the little goose.  It was especially fun to watch her reactions.  Priceless!
One of the biggest hits was a Bernstein Bears treasury.  Ginger ADORES books!!!
Happy birthday little Ginger, we love you!!!

    1. My past girl scout cookie orders have nearly bankrupted us! When we move back to the states I will have to put in a standing order with Liv. Thin Mints & Samoas all the way!!! I have found an Australian cookie that has been helping me through this GS cookie season, but who are we kidding? Nothing beats the real thing;) Love you guys! xoxox
