After a long year of mild brainwashing, Naomi informed me that she would like to be a "spooky witch" for halloween. I was elated my skills payed off! I've got nothing against Disney princesses, but for Halloween I highly favor something a little more interesting:)
Naomi's school had a Halloween carnival so she got to wear her costume to school and have her face painted. Love it!
After school we completed our Halloween ensambles and headed out for couple photos on our way to the Halloween carnival.
Ginger masqueraded as a pink bumble bee!
...apparently on the run...
I'd like to think more TO the playground than FROM me:)
Sorry sis, I'm just not getting the "spooky" vibe. Just too beautiful.
A nearly empty MTR car? Now THAT is spooky!!!
We had tons of fun at the Halloween carnival! The girls did a donut walk, fished, played hockey, soccer, bowling, and more. At the end of the carnival the girls went door to door for a little trick-or-treating.
By the end of the evening Ginger was spent! (BTW, did you notice her stinger??? Hahaha)
Needless to say, she was NOT in the mood to share her hard earned candy!
Although both girls were quite happy once they saw their spoils laid out in front of them!
Naomi's favorite: sweetarts.
After a quick change into Halloween jammies (and endless treats later) the girls were ready for bed.
And with that much candy in their systems you can be sure they had sweet dreams!

Oh my goodness, those girls are darling!!!! I am all for brainwashing when necessary. And in my opinion, Halloween is one of those times! And those Pj's are adorable!
ReplyDeleteCan G get any more photogenic?? My word!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe I am actually almost caught up on my blog right now. Just need to do Lucy's birthday. I MUST be nesting, otherwise this never would have happened! :)
