Can anyone really believe it's been a year since our tiny bundle of sugar & spice (heavy on the spice!) was born? We are nuts about our little Ginger!

I put Naomi in charge of the catering.
She chose CHOCOLATE-CHOCOLATE cake with CHOCOLATE-CHOCOLATE frosting, which she promised me is Gigi's very favorite kind. Hmmm...I either have 2 chocolate-obsessed daughters, or one who may or may not trade her baby sister for an extra slice of birthday cake;)
We decorated the cupcakes with chocolate-filled Chinese firecrackers. Gigi had some lucky kitties guarding her cake.
Ginger needed a little help opening her gifts, but loved seeing the surprises inside!
