Since arriving in Hong Kong we have been wanting to do a Ding Ding tour. The Ding Dings are double decker trolleys that run along the north side of the island. They give a great view of the city and go right through downtown. We decided to take the MTR out to one of Jon's old neighborhoods, Shau Kei Wan, and then take the Ding Ding back to Central.
Jon lived here in '96.
I'm always encountering crazy plants I've never seen. These were so cool!
It looked like they were roasting nuts in this giant wok.
This is a perfect illustration of how the girls react when strangers ask to take our picture. Gigi hams it up and Naomi plays it cool.
People here love to talk to the girls. You can see how Ginger just lights up, waves and squeals. Naomi is pretty protective of her little sis. Once when Gigi was sleeping and some strangers approached Naomi quickly pulled down Gigi's shade and told them, "She's sleepy!"
After the markets we rode back to Central via Ding Ding, admiring the view along the way.
Some of us were sleepier than others:)
