Easter 2012

It's Easter time again!  We were all very excited to see what our favorite bunny had brought us on Easter morning.  The girls hopped out of bed and promptly tore through their baskets.
As expected, Ginger went straight for the chocolate eggs.  This little girl is extremely adept at removing foil!
We tried out the "wacky wallies" on our window.  (Do you remember those from when you were a kid?)  Ginger was terrified of the tiny, sticky octopus creature thingies:)
This is the first Easter that we have actually dyed eggs - nothing fancy, just plain old dye like I remember doing as a kiddo.   Naomi really enjoyed it.
Next, we went on the bug hunt!  The weather was crummy, so we hid the eggs inside.  The girls absolutely LOVED finding the eggs.
Ginger would stop every time she found an egg, pull it open and eat the contents from the ground before finding another.  Classic!
Naomi with her dyed eggs.
I was really excited to get the girls dressed up this year.  I've had Ginger's Easter dress for since before she was born and I found Naomi's when we were in the States over the holidays.  They looked darling.  Getting gussied up for Easter is always worth it, how cute!
We painted Naomi's nails and applied these tiny flower nail stickers.  She was in heaven!  What a hit! Thanks Brandi!
Nana gave the girls these matching cupcake necklaces.  They ADORE them!
Happy Easter!

    1. My mom got the bag from a boutique in Washington. Maybe you could find one online? The little puffy tail really makes the bag, don't you think? :)
