This year we were especially happy to be together (after almost 2 months away from daddy) and in our new home in Hong Kong for Christmas!

To celebrate on Christmas Eve we went out for a night on the town. We were not alone. Actually, I'm pretty sure you're never alone in Hong Kong:) It was a very exciting & very crowded evening. We took the train to central and got some yummy dinner, then headed to the ferry to see the Christmas lights from the harbor.

We took the Star Ferry from Hong Kong Island to TST. All the buildings on the island are decked with lights for the holidays. They even do laser light shows into the night sky from the tops of the skyscrapers. It was quite a sight to behold!
We picked up this light-up Santa cap for Naomi, which proved very useful as the evening progressed...
We walked to the MTR from TST and caught the train home with our little sleepyhead.

I suppose we should have bought a cap for Gigi as well:)
Christmas jammies

In 9 years of marriage this was our first REAL Christmas tree. It was heavenly to come home to the scent of a real tree.

Naomi was very insistent that Santa have chocolate milk with his cookies. Lucky for us there are plenty of chocolate milk cows in China.

Gigi loved opening presents on Christmas morning. Her new crocodile was a hit!

Naomi didn't waste any time. She thoroughly enjoyed ripping that paper to shreds!

After opening presents we had a wonderful Christmas meal with friends.

...but not before the traditional Christmas nap.

And of course Bullseye accompanied us on our lunch date. He is, after all, Naomi's trusty steed and one of the biggest hits this Christmas.

Merry Christmas!
